Accessibility:

There is a car park at the venue; although there are no specific disability spaces, the car park is only 35 metres from all areas. The 2 unisex toilets on site have disabled access and the tearooms are accessible with large print menus, if required. The garden areas are on a slope, but the pathways are either stone chips or grass – most of the garden can be seen from the paths. The venue is situated on a main road, so the quietest areas are at the bottom of the slope.

Brief Description:

Norwood Gardens is three acres of landscaped gardens started in 2003, with a whole variety of different garden types: including 7 individual themed garden areas for alpines, lilies, bamboo, a bog, a Mediteranean garden and a small woodland area.  The Tea Room has a patio and gazebo serving light refreshments and teas throughout the day.

Our photographs show the Gardens at different seasons of the year, including those in the Summer of 2021.
