"There are 2 accessible parking bays for blue badge holders available in addition to the onsite car parking.

Drop-off points are available at the upper car park adjacent to the cafe

We welcome Assistance Dogs to Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet.

Due to the historic nature of the site, there are many rough and uneven surfaces, and many areas are only accessible by steps.

A static tactile map is available to help visitors with visual impairments to find their way around the site. The map is located outside, near the entrance to the Worker’s Cottage.

Folding seats are available on request.

A video with sound and subtitles is situated in the All About Abbeydale exhibit

As this is a working site there can be noisy machinery including a working waterwheel and blacksmith forges.
