Accessibility:

The Arts Centre is a member of the Hynt scheme, a national scheme whose cardholders can receive free tickets for a personal assistant or carer at participating venues. 

Any concerns about accessing the centre can be checked by calling call 01970 622882.

Disability parking is available next to the main entrance and two spaces are also available at the rear of the theatre, with level access into the main foyer. There are four wheelchair spaces at the front of the Great Hall with level access to the street and the main floor of the Arts Centre (including the Box Office and the Great Hall Foyer).

Wheelchair access is available to all auditoria and workshop spaces in the venue.

A lift is available for access to the theatre foyer and a stair lift allows access to the lower level.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcomed.

Toilet facilities are accessible on all levels except the lower foyer.

Hearing loops are installed in the Great Hall, Theatre and Cinema. 

Monthly subtitled screenings are available each month as well as audio description on some screenings.

Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Wales’ largest arts centre and a department of Aberystwyth University, offers a range of artistic programmes from drama, dance and music to visual arts, film and community arts.

There are rooms and theatres available for hire with conference equipment and catering available.
