There are a couple of Pay and Display car parks close to the Castle. There are no toilets on site, but there are public toilets close by, including disability toilets accessible with a RADAR key. Access around the Castle is wheelchair friendly.
Brief Description:The Castle, now ruined, was built during the First Welsh War in the late 13th century. It was begun during Edward I's first Welsh campaign at the same time as work started at Flint, Rhuddlan and Builth Wells.
