Accessibility

There is a car park on site with disabled parking bays. The car park costs £1 for one hour, £2.50 for four hours, or £3.50 for over four hours. There are disabled toilets on site and wheelchair access to the Visitor Centre and cafe.

Afan Forest Park and Visitor Centre is set in the Afan Valley, Port Talbot. The Park is renowned for its hiking and mountain biking trails and also has a cafe, Miners Museum and bike hire on site.

Directions

Take junction 40 from the M4 onto the A4107. After six miles, Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre is signposted. OS SO 820 950

Transport

From Neath you can get the First Cymru 59 to Pontrhydyfen; connections to Visitor Centre and Cymmer. From Port Talbot you can get the First Cymru service 83 direct to Visitor Centre and Cymmer.

Public toilets on site, including disabled toilets. 3 miles from Cymmer, which has an array of restaurants, a community swimming pool and health centre.
