Accessibility:

There is very little room to park along the roadside at this location. There is a kissing gate that gains you entry to the field where the crosses are located. The field is grass and then you enter the area with the crosses in through another gate. This is not accessible for those in wheelchairs. There are no facilities at this site.

The closest amenities can be found at the Powers Tullahought pub, situated 2.1 miles NW via the R697, turning right at Ticknock along an unnamed road to Tullahought.

Brief Description: The Ahenny High Crosses are said to be possibly the earliest group of ringed high crosses. The two high crosses here imitate the earlier wooden crosses which were encased with a metal binding.
