"Allerton Castle, also known as Allerton Park,[1] is a Grade I listed nineteenth-century Gothic or Victorian Gothic house at Allerton Mauleverer in North Yorkshire, England. It was rebuilt by architect George Martin, of Baker Street, London in 1843–53.

It is ten miles (16 km) east of Harrogate and just east of the A1(M), at its junction with the A59 York-Knaresborough road and a late 20th-century block used for education and corporate functions.[2]

Outside is St Martin's Church, Allerton Mauleverer."

Our North Yorkshire castle tour of Allerton Castle, allows you to experience all of the history that our beautiful venue has to offer. From a guided tour of the stately home to plenty of time for you to explore the grounds, your visit is sure to leave you feeling breathless.

For day visitors in 2023, Allerton Castle is open to the public on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm. Come explore Allerton at your own leisure with volunteers and staff on hand to answer questions and information banners and displays explaining Allerton Castle’s history and restoration. Or, join us at 2pm for a guided tour of Allerton Castle. Our expert guides will walk you through the historic rooms with interesting stories and in-depth knowledge of the Castle. We are open Tuesdays from 7th March to 21st October 2023."
