Brief description

2025-

"As the Museum of Military Medicine enters the next phase of its redevelopment plans, the museum will be closing its doors to visitors at Keogh Barracks on Saturday 2 August 2025.

Since the museum will be leaving the barracks later this year a period of a few months is needed to dismantle the displays and pack the artefacts ready for transport.

The museum will be opening at Whittington Barracks, the home of the Defence Medical Services, towards the end of the year.

Visitors will be able to come to the museum at Keogh Barracks during the rest of this month, and we are opening specially on Saturday 2 August 2025, from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., to welcome visitors to this site for the final time."
