Directions

From A1 Northbound -  Take the B668 Oakham Junction and at the T junction at the end of the slip road turn left towards Oakham on the B668. Remain on this road all the way into Cottesmore village. As you leave the village fork right at the traffic island, and then straight over the cross roads, signposted for Ashwell.  Remain on this road all the way into Ashwell where, at the cross roads, carry straight on, on Whissendine Road, and the level crossing appears very shortly.

From A1 Southbound - Take the B668 Oakham Junction and turn right at the roundabout at the end of the slip road under the A1 signposted for Oakham. At the roundabout turn left towards Oakham on the B668.  Remain on this road all the way into Cottesmore village. As you leave the village fork right at the traffic island, and then straight over the cross roads, signposted for Ashwell.  Remain on this road all the way into Ashwell where, at the cross roads, carry straight on, on Whissendine Road, and the level crossing appears very shortly.
