Brief description
Newbold Astbury, commonly known as Astbury, is a village and civil parish in Cheshire. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as belonging to Gilbert de Venables, the first Baron of Kinderton. The village is home to St Mary's Church, a Grade I listed building which has been named by many architects as one of the most beautiful churches in England.
