Accessibility:

The station car park has limited parking but includes 5 designated blue badge parking bays. The entrance and ticket office is wheelchair accessible across flat floors. Wheelchairs are available to loan on request. All trains are accessible by wheelchair and with trained staff to assist passengers with ramps whilst boarding from the platform. The station has a disability access toilet with low level light, alarm cords and grab rails.

Brief Description:

Three miles of railway track in the Avon valley offering passengers a unique experience to travel on a steam engine locomotive. Originally opened in 1869 and closed in the 1960’s, the short length of track has been restored by enthusiasts.

Directions:

On the east side of Bristol travelling north or south on the A4174 take the exit south from the Kingsfield Roundabout onto Marsham Way. At the 2nd roundabout continue south onto the A431 ‘Bath Road’. Follow the A431 ‘Bath Road’ and after passing under a railway bridge the turn for the station and car park is just past the bridge on the north side of the road.

A full menu of breakfasts, lunches and teas are offered in the station buffet, including a Sunday roast. The station shop is open between 10:00am and 4:30pm and offers an interesting selection of gifts and souvenirs.
