"The Mobility Hub at Bedford Bus Station provides Shopmobility scooters for hire and enables people with limited mobility to hire or buy a range of mobility equipment."
"Mobility aids (battery-powered scooters and manual wheelchairs) are available to help you shop and use the facilities in Bedford town centre if you have limited mobility, through age or disability.
The scheme is based in The Mobility Hub next to the bus station - handy for anyone wanting to use accessible buses to travel into the town centre.
There is a small charge to register to hire the equipment, and a returnable deposit each time equipment is hired.
