"Counted among Greater London’s quietest stations, Belmont Railway Station serves the suburb of Belmont in the London Borough of Sutton. The station lies along the Epsom Downs branch of Southern’s Sutton & Mole Valley Line in Travelcard Zone 5. Historically, services have operated on an hourly basis. At 41 minutes past the hour, northbound trains from Belmont to London Victoria operate with intermediate stops at Sutton, West Croydon, Streatham Common, Clapham Junction, and Battersea Park. Southbound services to Epsom Downs run at 15 minutes past the hour. From May 2018, service frequency will increase to two trains per hour in each direction, along with a Sunday service.

Originally a two-platform station, Belmont lost its up platform when the track was singled. The platform in use today was previously the down platform, and features basic amenities including a ticket machine including Oyster top-up, cycle storage, and waiting shelters. Step-free level access is available to the platform."
