Parking is available in a lay-by on the road with a level walk to the Windmill.

Due to the nature of the building access to the Windmill is limited for wheelchairs.

2025: "By road: ½ mile south of Bembridge on B3395. Parking: free (not National Trust), 100 yards in lay-by. Sat Nav: do not use postcode, look for brown signs.

Cycling: NCN67: ½ mile away. Follow the cycle route signs towards Bembridge Windmill. Note: This route is recommended for experienced riders due to fast-moving traffic and steep inclines.

On foot:

From Bembridge: Approximately 0.7 miles along quiet village roads. Note: Some sections lack pavements or have uneven surfaces. From Sandown: Approximately 5 miles via the Coastal Path SS43, linking up with other routes from Culver Down Beacon. This route offers stunning views but is hilly and suited for those comfortable with longer walks.

By ferry

Ryde (Wightlink, 0871 376 1000 or Hovertravel 01983 717700) 6 miles; East Cowes (Red Funnel, 0844 844 9988) 13 miles."

From Newport, leave the town via the A3054 northwards signposted for Ryde, and then immediately fork right onto Staplers Road following the brown signage for Robin Hill.  At the large roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Long Lane, again following the signs for the Theme Park. Remain on this road until you reach a mini roundabout, with the Theme Park entrance in front of you, and turn right towards Sandown. At the traffic lights, just after the Public House, turn left onto Downs Road and follow this towards Ryde. Just before a sharp left hand bend turn right onto Brading Down Road, signposted for Brading, and follow this road all the way down to the hill to a T Junction, where turn right onto The Mall following the sign for 'Through Traffic'. At the Yarbridge Cross junction carry straight onto the B3395 and remain on this road, keeping left at the mini-roundabout.  At the second mini roundabout turn left onto Mill Road and look out for the brown signage for parking in the Lay By on the left hand side.

From East Cowes Ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021. Follow this road out of East Cowes and just after the entrance to Osborne House turn left at the roundabout onto Whippingham Road, which continues to be the A3021, signposted for Newport. Remain on this road until the roundabout with the junction of the A3054 where you take the first exit towards Ryde. After a short distance take a turning on the right, which is signposted for Robin Hill Park through brown signage, onto Park Road.  At the mini roundabout carry straight on onto Briddlesford Road following the brown signage for the Theme Park. Remain on this road until you reach another mini roundabout, with the entrance to the Park on the left, carry straight over towards Sandown. At the traffic lights just after the Public House turn left onto Downs Road and follow this towards Ryde. Just before a sharp left hand bend turn right onto Brading Down Road, signposted for Brading, and follow this road all the way down to the hill to a T Junction, where turn right onto The Mall following the sign for 'Through Traffic'. From Fishbourne Ferry leave terminal on B3731 until junction with A3054 where turn right towards East Cowes. Remain on this road until you reach the village of Wootton Bridge where you turn left at the traffic lights by the Public House onto Station Road, signposted for Sandown. At the mini roundabout turn left onto Briddlesford Road, following the brown signage for the Robin Hill Theme Park. Remain on this road until you reach another mini roundabout, with the entrance to the Park on the left, carry straight over towards Sandown. At the traffic lights just after the Public House turn left onto Downs Road and follow this towards Ryde.
