Accessibility:

There are two different approaches to this church - one is by a wooden gate where you can park a vehicle. There is a level entrance into the porch and through entrance door which includes a level approach from an iron lych gate. There are no toilets at the church.

Brief Description:

St Mary’s is said to be the highest church in England, standing at 1,300 feet above sea level, and looks over the panoramic view at Bettys-y-Crwyn. Thought to have been originally built in the eleventh century the church has undergone numerous restorations throughout history. However, the south and north walls are thought to still be part of the original building.
