"This quirky holiday cottage was once the second Earl of Buckinghamshire’s race stand at Blickling. With its large, arched windows, spiral staircase, and third-floor roof terrace, it's like your own mini castle.
The Blickling Estate's Jacobean mansion is only 15-minute's walk away. With 55 acres of formal gardens, a lake and over 4,600 acres of park and farmland, there are plenty of walking and cycling trails from the doorstep. Enjoy lunch in one of the two cafés by the hall, or at the estate's country pub, The Buckinghamshire Arms, where you can sample local ales.
The sandy beaches and cliff top paths of the Norfolk coast are within a 20-minute drive, and Blakeney National Nature Reserve is 20 miles away. The Georgian market town of Aylsham can be reached within a 30-minute walk or five-minute drive.
After days out exploring the estate and local area, retire to the roof to take in expansive views that stretch across rolling fields and woodland, and out towards the coast."
"We do not consider this cottage suitable for children under the age of 6 due to the twin bedroom being on a different floor to the master bedroom and access to both being via the spiral stairwell. No stair-gates are provided due to the design of this building."
