Accessibility:

The arboretum is accessible by road and has its own car park. There are no designated disability parking bays. Many paths are dirt or gravel and generally flat and accessible, including the entrance and nurseries. The public toilet has some space and has not been modified for disability access and has a small step into it (please see our photographs).   Guide dogs are permitted within the grounds but pets must be kept in owners cars.

Directions:

Bluebell Arboretum and Nursery in Smisby is 6.95 miles/11.18 kilometres south east of Burton-on-Trent. From Burton-on-Trent follow the A511 ‘Ashby Road’ east. Cross the roundabout following the A511 south east and then at the crossroads turn north onto Annwell Lane. The entrance to the arboretum will become visible on the west side of the road.
