 Accessibility:

The hostel has not been adapted for wheelchair use and within the building are features of limited or difficult access such as steps in doors and steep stairs to parts of the building. The small toilet, bathroom and shower have no disability support in place and are all standard door width. Blytheswood’s approach drive way is flat but on a steep gradient. The surrounding area is a sloping terrain of woodland floor.

Brief Description:

Blytheswood Hostel is in a picturesque and idyllic setting off the B3212, surrounded by woodland and on the eastern side of Dartmoor. The building itself is a converted World War 2 wooden chalet. The surrounding nature reserve is a thriving habitat for local wildlife.

Directions:

Blytheswood Hostel is on the B3212, 150 metres west of the River Teign. There is a small car park on the north side of the road opposite the hostel entrance. Reaching the hostel is along a woodland path from the main road. If travelling on public transport, there is a bus stop within the car park.
