Accessibility:
Bolton Castle is an ancient historical monument and not easily accessible for those with reduced mobility. Spiral staircases and uneven surfaces exist throughout the building.
There is a car park near the castle, but no disabled spaces are available. There are regular toilets available by the lobby, but no disability toilets.
Note that no dogs are allowed near tha castle, including guide dogs - as they may scare the birds present at the castle.
Brief Description:
Bolton Castle is an over 600 year old castle offering a large amount of activities, including displays of birds of prey, an archery demonstration and feeding of boars.

Opening Hours:
Open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm from April to September. Open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm in February, March and October.
Note that the castle may be closed earlier some days due to weddings. For more information, please visit the website.

Concession - £7 (Over 60s, students and children aged 5-18)
Family - £30 (Two adults and three concessions which must include at least 1 child)
Directions:
Castle Bolton is located close to the village of Redmire, which in turn is near Leyburn. The castle can be reached from a road running paralell to the A684, accessible northwest from the town of Leyburn.

There is a bus stop right outside Bolton Castle, where the 156 and 535R services drive past.
Amenities:
