Accessibility:

There is a car park at the venue with disability spaces close to the entrance. It is a disabled-friendly venue with level concrete paths to all exhibits, or gentle wooden slopes. There are toilets on site with disability facilities.  Wheelchairs and pushchairs can get to all parts of the animalarium and there is a wheelchair for loan.

Brief Description:

The Animalarium Borth Zoo is a collection of exotic, unusual and interesting animals. Most of the animals have come from Pet Rescue Centres, RSPCA, other zoos, pet shops, or were unwanted or abandoned pets. You can be a zookeeper for a day, watch the meerkat feeding and the reptile show as well as buy food pots to feed some of the animals yourself.

Directions:

The animalarium is located in the village of Borth in the north of Ceredigion county. From the B4353 (High Street) in Borth there is a road that turns inland to the animalarium – it is well signposted.
