Brief description
The Museum and Exhibition Space:
Over 10,000 artefacts, videos, oral history recordings and other items that reflect working and domestic life in Brent from about 1850 to the present day.
Free temporary exhibitions that feature newly acquired objects, objects which have been in storage for decades and loaned objects from other museums.
The Archive:
A wide range of photographs, postcards, documents and historical objects related to the Borough
Records of Brent Council and its predecessors, including council minutes and building plans
Electoral registers, local history library and pamphlet boxes and microfilms
Historical maps and street directories
School records
Records of local groups and organisations
Local newspapers dating back to 1870."
