Accessibility:

The museum’s main entrance has several steps but there is flat access to the side through electronic doors. Wheelchair-accessible lifts are between floors and there are 2 wheelchairs available for loan on request. There is also an induction loop at the reception desk. The disability access toilet has grab rails and an alarm cord. 

Blue Badge holders don't need a permit to park in any residents' parking area and can park for free without a time limit in residents' parking areas in permit holders only bays, shared use bays, and pay-and-display bays.

Immediately to the north-east of the Museum, University Road has 42 free on-street parking spaces with a 2 hour time limit.

Directions:

From the A38, A4032 and A4044 converging onto the St. James Barton Roundabout  take the exit west onto Marlborough Street. Continue south onto Upper Maudlin Street, converging with both Perry Road and Park Row travelling west. As Park Row converges with Queens Road the museum will be visible on the north side of the road.
