Brief Description:

Founded in 1983, the British Commercial Vehicle Museum exhibits an array of vintage commercial and public vehicles, both toy and life-size models.
Please note that our photographs were taken prior to the reopening of the museum in 2019.
"For places to go, come rain or shine, there’s something for ALL ages at this unique motor museum. Thought provoking games & tasks for young ones (Pick up a ‘Tiger Cub Pack’ at reception); A nostalgic trip into the past for parents and grandparents; A wealth of history for ‘time-travellers’ to research – they all contribute towards a great day out in Lancashire!
We are just 3 minutes from M6 JCT 28 for Leyland. Brown tourist signposts give directions. So convenient too, for taking a break if planning a long journey which is passing north or south through Lancashire. Good coffee, something to eat, and a chance to see some historic, beautifully preserved vehicles… you will want to spend more time!"
