The central car park is at Bank Lane. It has blue badge holder parking with a maximum stay of 3 hours. The car park has a single disability toilet. Other car parks are at Berry Head. Blue Badge parking is available on some of Brixham’s main shopping streets with limited one-hour parking.
Brief Description:
Originally a Saxon settlement, Brixham has many Dutch names and influences from the ancient times of William of Orange and the landing of the Dutch army. Traditionally a thriving fishing village, Brixham remains an important harbour for fishing vessels. Attractions include a replica of Francis Drake’s Golden Hind and the annual Brixham Pirate Festival where the town fills with fancy dress pirates enjoying live music and entertainments.

Directions:
From the west follow the A385 from Totnes and from the north follow the A380 along the South Devon Highway. At the crossroads on the east side of Paignton, take the A3022 Brixham Road south. Merge onto the A379 and at the fork continue along Brixham Road on the A3022. Follow the road east into Brixham town centre.

Cafés and restaurants are plentiful in Brixham, including some excellent sea food restaurants. Much of the produce served is from Brixham Fish market. The shopping areas have many gift and art shops with a craft market held every Monday at Pannier Market.
