"In view of the age and complexity of our listed building only the ground floor of the museum is accessible to disabled visitors. We do not have a lift to the various floors.

We have ramps to assist you into the building and can provide tea and coffee. You will have access to the Broadway’s timeline exhibit which details the village’s history. We can also provide you with all the relevant material currently available about the museum.

Our volunteers will do their best to make you feel at home and if time allows they can tell you more about the exhibits and special exhibitions.

We have a fully accessible toilet and there is one disabled parking space opposite the Museum. More disabled parking is available on the High Street and in Broadway car parks." https://broadwaymuseum.org.uk/plan-your-visit/

Brief description

"Discover our permanent exhibitions about Broadway’s history including the world-famous colony of American artists and writers who visited and worked here in the late 19th century, prosperity from wool and its role as a coaching stage. In addition, we are pleased to announce a new selling exhibition:

“Beauty, Style & Fashion: 20th Century Paintings, Drawings & Costumes”

- An exhibition of both original art, depicting fashion of the period 1900 – 1960, as well as clothes and accessories of the same period, this is an opportunity to view and purchase unique works of immaculate provenance. The collection is the property of a retired art dealer, and the costumes are courtesy of Fashion Fandango.

Visiting the museum is also an opportunity to step inside and explore a beautiful Cotswold stone Grade II* listed building. Complete with museum shop, the Broadway Museum and Art Gallery is the perfect place to include on a trip to The Cotswolds this Autumn.

This community Museum has a memorandum of understanding with the Ashmolean Museum Oxford. They generously supported the setting up of the museum with its expertise and whose staff provide advice and guidance and curate a number of our special exhibitions."
