Accessibility:

As this is a private holiday let there is no official car park, but there is a small, unofficial gravel layby just over the road from the windmill.

Brief Description:

Burnham Overy Staithe watermill was constructed of brick and pantile in 1790. By the 1880s the waterwheel drove three pairs of stones and was supplemented by a condensing steam beam engine that drove a further four sets of stones. Previously it was worked in conjunction with the nearby Burnham Overy windmill but was converted into a self-catering holiday cottage and has been up for sale.
