"Steps leading into the property may be difficult for wheelchair users.

Entrance / Set Down: Disabled visitors can be dropped of before reaching the car park.

Disabled Parking: There is no designated disabled parking in the car park. The main pathway surface at the Priory is gravel and slabs. There is one step up into the property and steep steps up to the first floor. Please note there are cobbled floors in some areas.There are about 15 steep steps that lead upstairs to the small exhibition area. There is uneven ground leading up to and inside the property."

"Bushmead Priory is a rare survival of the complete refectory of an Augustinian priory, with a fine timber roof and notable 14th-century wall paintings.

It is open on the first Saturday of each month 10am – 2pm between 1 May and 30 September. Pre-booking is essential and to book please call the Wrest Park reception on 01525 860000 (Option 5) between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Pre-booking is mandatory to visit Bushmead Priory. You can book your advance ticket by contacting the Wrest Park reception team on 01525 860000 (Option 5) between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

If you are a Member you will still need to book but your ticket will still be free. Please remember to bring your English Heritage membership card with you. Members are able to book tickets for those included in the membership only. Any additional bookings made will be chargeable on site."

Directions

There is a small car park which is free of charge located next to the property with room for four cars. There is no coach parking at Bushmead Priory, and only space for one minibus.
