Calfaria Baptist Chapel is nestled within a residential area close to Llanelli town centre. There is roadside parking available to view the exterior of the building but unfortunately since 2006 the building has no longer been in use and as a result has fallen into disrepair and is now locked to the public. 


Brief Description:


Calfaria Baptist Chapel is an impressive Grade 2 listed large stone building boasting large arched wooden doors and windows at the front of the building.The original Sunday School building was built in 1881 and the second chapel building was constructed 7 years later in 1888.

Directions:


Calfaria Baptist Chapel is located approximately 6 miles from the M4.

Exit the M4 motorway at junction 48 and travel West along Pontarddulais Road (A4138) towards Llanelli for 4.8 miles. At the traffic lights on the crossroads next to the Premier Inn hotel, turn right on to Glyncoed Terrace. Continue to the end of the road and take the second exit on the roundabout turning right. Continue to the next roundabout and take the second exit going straight on. Continue to the next roundabout and take the first exit turning left onto Pottery Street. Continue to the next roundabout and take the first exit to go straight on continuing on Pottery Street. Take the second left on to Ann street and the venue can be seen on the left.
