Camlough Village, County Armagh
Camlough is a small village in county Armagh. It is named after a loch that is nearby, which once translated from Irish means 'crooked lake'. It is also near the Ring of Gullion, a unique geological formation without parallel in the UK or Ireland. Consequently, this feature has been granted the status of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Camlough is located just over three miles to the west of Newry in County Armagh.
There is a bus stop at the local post office, from which buses run into Newry bus centre.
Camlough has a filling station, a pharmacy and food takeaway services.
