Accessibility:

Some areas of the walks are steep with tree roots across the paths. Wheelchair user access to the park is free of charge. There is a disability access car park to the side of the entrance driveway towards reception. Many paths have wheelchair access although most paths have some slopes and occasional mud. There is a disability-access toilet on site.

Brief Description:

England’s highest man-made waterfall. The waterfall is surrounded by beautiful fern gardens and natural attractions. Dogs on leads are welcome

Saturday and Sunday 10:00am until 5:00pm.

Directions:

Travelling north or south on the Devon Expressway take the exit for the B3193. Travel north on the B3193 following along the west bank of the River Teign. Follow the road until taking the exit west sign posted for ‘Canonteign Falls’. Continue on the road north and the entrance to the falls will be on the west side of the road.

On site is a gift shop and café selling food and refreshments.  Amenities can be found at the following nearby towns: Chagford , Mortonhampstead, Bovey Tracey, and Newton Abbot.  The city of Exeter has an excellent variety of cafés, restaurants, pubs, places to stay and shops, including independents and boutiques. Other attractions include live music venues, museums, cinemas, outdoor activities and local attractions.
