"At Central Library Hub, we can help you with:  

  • welfare and benefit advice,   
  • the housing waiting list, and   
  • support if you are facing homelessness.  

The Hub also provides a library service offering a wide variety of books and computer access. You can also get one-stop help with bus pass applications.  

The self-service scanning station allows you to upload housing benefit evidence. We hold a weekly housing surgery where you can get face-to-face advice from our team. We also run community activities for groups of all ages."

"Cardiff Central Library was built to be one of the most sustainable buildings in Cardiff, achieving the highest ratings for sustainable development, energy, and water efficient services.


It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building and study spaces on every floor. There are four rooms available for hire in the building:


The Meeting Room located on Level 4 is equipped with a 75” touch screen presentation television, flexible seating arrangements, and an LCD projector. This is an ideal space for business meetings or for private seminars and presentations with a capacity of 35 people.


The Tenant Participation Room on Level 4 has a projector and flexible seating and is perfect for small meetings or activities for up to 10 people.


The Peter Cronin Suite on Level 5 has a laser projector, flexible seating, and a spectacular view of the city. This space is perfect for larger presentations, group activities, seminars and as a creative space for up to 36 people.


The ICT Suite on Level 5 is equipped with 10 desktop PCs, a presentation screen, and a projector. This space caters well for smaller groups for up to 20 people, or for more intimate and interactive presentations."
