Accessibility:

There are a number of car parks, which includes spaces for disability parking. There are public toilets (including a disability toilet) in the town - signposted 200 yards north of the waterfront's north side - and there are several cafes and pubs nearby. Cardigan Castle, overlooking the bridge, also has a disability toilet for visitors.

Brief Description:

This was originally a wooden bridge which was probably built soon after the foundation of the town. The bridge crosses the Teifi river.

Cardigan is approx. 19 miles to the north east of Fishguard via the A487, or approx. 23 miles to the south west of Aberaeron, again via the A487. The bridge and waterfront can be found on Castle Street. OS SN 177458
