Accessibility:

Cobbled road and pave-stones to the café. Castle ruins situated on top of a substantial hill and on grass. Access maybe difficult for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties. However the café has seating downstairs as well as an upper area – no lift, only stairs. Disability toilets on site. Dogs welcome, although must be kept on leads at all times throughout the grounds. Hearing loop in place.

Brief Description:

Carreg Cennen Castle and Farm are found on the western fringe of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is one of the few remaining privately owned castles in Wales. With an underground cave to explore, make sure you pick up a torch or take one with you.

Summer opening: 9.30am – last admission 5.30pm.

Winter opening: 9.30am – last admission 4.00pm.

Admission charges: Adults - £4.00. Family (2 adults and children under 16) £12.00. Reduced rates: (OAP's, Students(with ID), Children £3.50.

10% discount available for groups of over 15 people.
