Accessibility:

Situated approx quarter of a miles walk along footpath in the middle of a field via footpaths mostly laid to grass. Care should be taken in wet weather conditions. The field is actively used to graze cattle and sheep. Gates and possibly stiles found along this route. No toilets. Please see

Brief Description:

Carreg Samson also known as Samson's Stone situated in a farmers field over looking the the bay of Abercastle. The Neolithic monument is said to be the remains of a chambered tomb.
