Brief description
"Church of Christchurch" is a Grade II listed building in the Gothic Style dating from 1812. "It was founded by Thomas Morgan, a local collier who could neither read nor write. There was nowhere to worship in the village, so he opened his cottage to worship. He is buried under the floor of the South Aisle."
A full description of the church is available online from the British Listed Buildings website.
