Accessibility:

There is space for a couple of cars to park outside the front of the church yard gate but this is extremely limited. Further parking is available in the town with time-limited on-street parking on Mount Street or a public car park at Seven Stars Road (SY21 7NJ). There are pavements throughout the town but the road up to the church is quite sloped. The interior is relatively flat, but as the interior performs as both a public and private space that is in a state of reconstruction there may be hazards and obstructions.

Please call in advance and give details of any special requirements if you wish to visit.

Brief Description:

The Grade II listed Christ Church building was started in 1839 and completed in 1844. It was a Church in Wales church until it was made redundant in 1998 and was purchased in 2003 to become a home and public space.

It is now a private residence which is opened to the public for events and on particular days of the week.
