Brief description
Church of the Holy Rood is a Grade I* listed Norman-style building, dating from the early 11th Century with additional parts dating from the 12th-14th centuries. The font and nave date from the 13th century. The chancel arch, tower, belfry, and rare medieval red wall paintings of St. Christopher with Norman/French inscription date from the 14th century.
