Accessibility:

The church car park is for church use only and there is very little on-street parking around the site. What is there is time restricted (half an hour) or permit holders only. There is a large multi-storey car park a short walk away on the B4434/Fairfield Way with disability spaces.

The entrance from the street to the interior of the church is flat and level. The interior of the church is generally flat and laid to quarry tiles and where there are steps or differences in height there are ramps to make these areas accessible. There is a disability toilet at the north-east end of the church.

Brief Description:

The church is a Victorian Gothic construction consecrated on 29 November 1866. The interior, which is built from red and purple bricks to make intricate patterns, houses a richly decorated chancel with Decalogue Tablets portraying the Ten Commandments and the Lady Chapel, which was added in 1925 and contains a coloured reredos from 1958. There are also many stained glass windows from different eras, a pipe organ and a clock and bells which were installed as a WWI war memorial.

The church is used for many community activities including Sunday school, youth groups, coffee mornings and events.
