Brief description

St. Paul and St. Paul Church is a Grade I* listed Romanesque/Norman-style building, dating from the early 11th Century, with additional parts Nave, Chancel and Apse dating from the 12th-14th centuries. Medieval wall paintings dating from 1330 can be seen in the semicircular apse.

There is an etched glass memorial window by Lawrence Whistler, as a tribute to Eric Kennington R.A.* artist and sculptor (1888-1960). He served as a war artist in both World Wars.  St. Peter and St Paul Church has a sculpture, capitals, and roof bosses by Eric Kennington. He served as Church Warden and is buried here. (R.A.* - a member of the Royal Academy).
