Brief Description:

Dating from the 12th century, Holy Saviour Church is no longer used for worship and is cared for by ‘The Churches Conservation Trust’. The church was built on peaty soil and whilst being built its tower began to lean. As a result the tower remains short and without a spire. The leaning tower remains a distinguished feature. The church remains open to the visiting public.
