Accessibility:

There is an onsite carpark which is for the use of people visiting the church. The church has full wheelchair access (side entrance) and a hearing induction loop.

 

Brief Description:

Westborough Methodist Church was built in 1862 following a competition being launched inviting architects to submit plans for a new chapel. Thirty three architects submitted plans and the winning architect was William B Stewart. There is a cafe and also church halls.

Opening Hours:

Open during daylight hours. Sunday services at 10.30 am and 6.30pm. Café open 10.00am-2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and 10.00am-12.30pm Saturday.


Directions:

From Whitby via A171 (19.7m). Take Church St and Spital Bridge to Helredale Rd/A171. Turn left onto Helredale Road/A171 and continue to follow for 15.1 miles. Follow A165 for 3.7 miles to Westborough/A64 in Scarborough. Turn right onto Westborough and your destination will be on your right.

 

From Bridlington via A165 (16.9m). Follow A1038 to Scarborough Road/A165. Follow A165 to Westborough/A64 in Scarborough for 16 miles until you reach your destination.
