Disability Toilet and Baby Changing Facilities. Disability Parking

"Most parts of the Museum are fully accessible via lift and disabled toilets are available in the Café & Main Toilet Block in the Mill Yard.

Physical access to the Main Factory is provided by two lifts, with each floor having ample space to manoeuvre.

Unfortunately, not all areas of the site are accessible such as the Beam Engine viewing platform, but we are working hard to make adaptations to improve access to all areas.

We now have an Access Tramper Buggy for use over at Project Splash! and the Mill Pond area. The Tramper is an all-terrain mobility scooter which can be borrowed to explore the community & wildlife space. The tramper is designed to handle the rougher ground and is easy to use.

Accessible parking bays are also available in the main car park which is just over the bridge from the entrance to the Mill.

If you have any questions or require further information please contact Visitor Services on 01884 840960."
