Accessibility:

There is plenty of free parking at the venue, with designated disability spaces within a few metres of the main reception area. All of the craft centre ‘pods’ are wheelchair friendly and there are men’s and women’s toilets with disability facilities. There is also a Changing Places – a unisex high-dependency disabled toilet – which is accessible 24 hours a day with a RADAR key.

Brief Description:

Corris Craft Centre is a collection of nine individual, octagonal shaped craft studio pods. You can meet the artists and buy their handmade items. There are also opportunities to get hands-on fun and learn some of the crafts yourself. The crafts include: candles, soaps and scents; chocolates, truffles and fudge; Celtic jewellery; flamework and glass sculptures; gin with Welsh botanicals; handmade pottery and smoking dragons; herbal lotions and remedies; natural forest furniture; and personalised wooden gifts and toys.

The craft centre is on the A487 road at Corris, midway between Dolgellau and Machynlleth. Follow the brown and white tourist signs for Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth.

Amenities:

The craft centre has its own café, Y Crochan, which sells meals made from Welsh produce, as well as snacks and drinks. There is also Bwtri Y Crochan, a Welsh Food and Drink shop, where you can purchase over 450 products, including hand-baked bara brith, Welsh cheeses, preserves, honey, jams, a range of chilli products, Welsh harvested sea salt and Welsh reared meat (sausages and bacon), as well as an impressive collection of whiskeys and liqueurs and a growing range of Welsh beers.
