This is located at the junction of Bridge Street and Drumragh Avenue, in Omagh town centre. The Town's County hall is on the opposite side of the road on Drumagh Avenue, and a bus station is situated just behind the memorial, on Bridge Street. There are no toilets available at this memorial, but there are accessible toilets in the Bus station. 

There is no parking available on site at the memorial. Paid parking is situated beside the Bus Station - Enter VIA Drumragh Avenue.

Brief description

This memorial is in remembrance of the 2,000 men from County Tyrone, First World War (1914-1918). The monument takes the form of a massive obelisk of hammered granite with dressed angles standing on a base reached by three steps.

Directions

This is easiest accessed by coming through the Bus Station/Carpark. There is a wide path on both sides of the road and it is situated on the Junction of Drumragh Avenue and Bridge Street.
