"We want to make sure that all of our visitors feel welcome at Croxteth Hall and Country Park. If you have a particular enquiry regarding accessibility to the Hall and grounds, please do not hesitate to contact us.

DISABLED ACCESS AND BLUE BADGE PARKING

A number of disabled parking bays are available at Croxteth Hall, if using these bays, we ask that you please display a Blue Badge when parking. To access these parking bays, please use the traditional service entrance via Flint Drive off Croxteth Hall Lane which provides the best access to these facilities. Please use postcode L12 0HB as your Sat Nav reference for this parking.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS:

The entrance to Croxteth Hall is ramped and there is a lift which gives access to the upstairs display rooms.  The Cafe area on the grounds of the Hall is also accessible via a ramp – please use the right-hand entrance at the Courtyard to gain entry.  This also provides level access to the Toilets and Disabled/Changing places toilets.

The Country Park has miles of estate roads and tracks with tarmac and stone surfacing which makes them easily accessible, whilst the Victorian Walled Garden has slightly ramped access onto fine gravel paths.

Our playground includes a wheelchair swing and is accessible via tarmacked paving. Please ask in the Gift Shop located on the ground floor of Croxteth Hall for a fixing kit (to secure the wheelchair) – a Radar key is required for access.

Home Farm has level or ramped access, but please be aware that the farmyard is cobbled."

"We are continuously working on the accessibility and facilities available at Croxteth Hall and Country Park. If you have a suggestion or feedback regarding how we can improve our accessibility, please contact us.

Our fully accessible toilet, complete with adult hoist and changing bed (Radar key required), is open every day April to September between 9.00am and 6.30pm. Situated across the Old Riding School Cafe in the courtyard.

DISABLED ACCESS AND BLUE BADGE PARKING

Disabled drivers with a blue badge can use the disabled parking bays in the main public car park. There are alternative disabled parking bays in the conference centre parking area for those accessing the conference centre via Flint Drive (Sat Nav: L12 0HB).

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

The Croxteth Hall entrance is ramped and there is a lift which gives access to the upstairs display and function rooms. The Victorian Walled Garden has slightly ramped access leading to fine gravel paths with level out once you have entered the garden and ramped access is available to the greenhouses. The Country Park has miles of estate roads and tracks with tarmac or stone surfacing but also some grassy tracks.

Croxteth Hall Lane (the road that cuts through the Park) has sections with very narrow pavements so is not recommended for pushchair or wheelchair access (Flint Drive Gate)."

Brief description

"Croxteth Hall sits in a traditional beautiful Country Park and is one of Liverpool’s most important heritage sites. Formerly the home of the Earls of Sefton, this stunning building is preserved in time. When you enter Croxteth Hall you step back in time as the house is frozen in the Edwardian age.

Outside on the grounds of the Country Park is the Victorian Walled Garden, all set in over 500 acres of historic parkland. Surrounding the Hall is a beautiful woodland, pasture, and nature reserve – all of which are open to the public." https://www.croxteth-hall.co.uk/about/
