Directions

Gilfach Goch is located on the edge of the Rhondda Cynon Taf and Bridgend County border. It is approximately 3 miles outside of Tonyrefail via Gilfach Road and approximately 10 miles from Pontypridd via A4085 and A4233 or, approx. 19 miles from Cardiff via the M4 and A470.

Well Pharmacy:

Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

Saturday 10am - 1pm

Sunday - Closed

Transport

Gilfach Goch is an ex-mining valley that has an abundance of outstanding natural beauty. There are multiple mountain walks that offer incredible views of the valley, along with flatter paths that follow the river and lead to the waterfalls. It has multiple playgrounds along with the Welfare Park where the local rugby team play. There is a community cafe and a local takeaway fish and chip shop, along with numerous Public Houses to enjoy a relaxing drink or two.
