St Michaels Church is located on a slight hill side. There is very limited parking by the entrance gate, which is level. Parking must be done with care.

Cwmdu church, dedicated to St Michael and known sometimes as Llanfihangel Cwmdu, occupies a spur overlooking Rhiangoll valley as it cuts though the Black Mountains, just before it opens out to the vale of the River Usk.
