There are metered car parking spaces situated next door to the Lifeboat Station. Just behind the station in Ravine Road there are blue badge parking spaces. Also in Ravine Road are public toilets which include wheelchair accessible facilities. RADA keys are obtainable from Filey Information Centre on John Street. There is a driving ramp directly onto the sandy beach, so this would also make it wheelchair accessible.

Brief Description

The RNLI provides a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service, seasonal lifeguards, water safety education and initiatives, and flood rescue response. Filey station was established in 1804 and was taken over by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in 1852. In 1991 a new boathouse was built.
