Accessibility:

There is free parking at the front of the Museum and also along the promenade. There is limited access for people with mobility Impairments as the museum has, at present, no wheelchair access. There are seven steps with a handrail and one step without a handrail to access the museum. Access to the first level is via staircases with 20-21 steps with handrails. There are toilets including disability toilets and baby-changing facilities on the ground floor. Assistance dogs are welcome. There is a café serving light refreshments and a gift shop both on the ground floor.
