Accessibility:
There is limited parking around the Priory, however if you need a disabled parking space please call the Head Verger in advance on 01524 65338. The closest car park is Park Safe on Damside Street, and there are several car parks in Lancaster with plenty of designated blue badge parking. There is wheelchair-access at the main South West Door. The Nave and North Chancel are linked by a permanent ramp in the North & South Aisles and in the North Aisle the floor has been raised, and ramped in the corridor leading into the Refectory. The fire door has been widened. A cut-out in the step at the Altar rail allows wheelchair access on the North side. There are also wheelchair spaces at the outside end of some pews in the Nave. At the West end, there is a single step up into the Bookshop in the Bell Tower. There are toilets including disability toilets which are wheelchair-accessible and also include baby-changing facilities. There is a gift shop and also coffee shop in the church refectory which is open on Saturdays. Guide leaflets are available in several languages.
